The best tools out there show stats of other players. On-Line poker sometimes puts a player at a disadvantage because you cannot see the player in person, and cannot make an educated decision whether they are bluffing of they actually have a monster hand. Being able to see their stats will give you an edge that might make up for that.
Here are some sites that give you that edge.
The Poker DB - This site shows stats on people's tournament wins. They do not show losses, but you will get a feel for the player nonetheless.
SharkScope - This site shows stats on people's Sit & Go tournament wins and losses.
Official Poker Rankings - This site shows stats on people's tournament history. Wins and losses are posted here. This makes for a better feel of the player.
Poker Tracker - Poker Tracker is a Windows based computer program that allows you to analyze your on-line Texas Hold'Em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo and Razz play. Poker Tracker stores and summarizes hand history data that can be downloaded from your poker site.
